The Capital Area Food Network (CAFN) has developed a comprehensive online directory of food distribution programs serving Raleigh, Wake County, and the greater Triangle area. Designed to provide true “one-stop” access for individuals and families in need, the site features more than 135 organizations within the City of Raleigh, over 210 across Wake County, and nearly 300 throughout the Triangle region. CAFN operates as part of Wake County Cooperative Extension, ensuring trusted, community-based support. This resource is also featured on the Wake County DHHS website, as well as on the Wake Network of Care platform and the websites of the towns of Fuquay-Varina, Garner, Rolesville, and Wake Forest.

Summer Food

Serving Nutritious Food for Kids in the Summer

The Summer Food Service Program is a USDA-funded meal program available to children 0–18 at no cost.

Wake County Cooperative Extension supports our partners in establishing and enhancing summer food sites across the county. Though we do not directly manage or maintain any sites, we work hard to share the most up-to-date site lists and summer meal information with citizens in Wake County!
